Vaihe 1: Mittaa korvakkeen leveys
- Mittaa viivoittimella tai mittatikulla kellosi korvakkeiden välinen tila, johon hihna kiinnitetään. Tämä mitta määrittää korvakkeen leveyden.
Vaihe 2: Mittaa ranteen koko
- Kiedo joustava mittanauha tai naru tiukasti ranteesi ympärille, juuri ranneluun alapuolelle.
- Merkitse mitat tuumina tai senttimetreinä.
Vaihe 3: Määritä hihnan pituus
- Mittaa kellon korvakkeiden päiden välinen etäisyys, jotta voit määrittää hihnan ihanteellisen pituuden. Tämän mittauksen tulisi vastata ranteesi kokoa ja haluttua istuvuutta.
- Mukavan istuvuuden saavuttamiseksi lisää ranteesi kokoon 1,5-2 tuumaa (3,5-5 senttimetriä).

Kapenevat koot:
Kapeneva koko tarkoittaa kellon hihnan leveyden asteittaista pienenemistä toisesta päästä toiseen. Kellohihnoissa kapeneva malli on tyypillisesti leveämpi lähellä kellon korvakkeen kiinnityskohtaa ja kapenee vähitellen kohti soljen tai lukon päätä. Tämä kapeneva muoto ei ainoastaan paranna hihnan esteettistä ulkonäköä, vaan tarjoaa myös mukavan istuvuuden, sillä se mukautuu ranteeseen pehmeästi. Kapenevia hihnoja suositaan usein niiden tyylikkään ulkonäön ja ergonomisen muotoilun vuoksi, ja ne antavat tyylikkään ja hienostuneen ulkonäön, kun ne yhdistetään erilaisiin kelloihin.

Mainittu ranteen koko viittaa ranteesi ympärysmittaan siinä kohdassa, jossa yleensä käytät kelloa.

We are proud to represent our handmade oak bark tanned watch straps. The famous Britain tannery J. & F.J. Baker & Co Ltd. provides us with the highest quality, most durable 5-6 mm thick leather. This tannery remains a family business since 1862, where exclusive all-natural tanning and finish techniques are handed through the generations over centuries.
J. & F.J. Baker & Co Ltd. stands for unrivalled, hardwearing, strong and richly coloured leather thanks to natural methods and products, as well as to the skilled craftsmanship. Tanning process uses only oak bark and stream water. Unlike modern tanning, 14 months-lasting oak bark tannage saves the natural leather fibres. Then expert curriers finish the leather by hand with tannery’s own special mixture of natural oils and greases that nourishes the leather, emphasises its natural grain and saturates colour. Whilst all the process is a slow, labour intensive and expensive, it results into very hardwearing and simultaneously lightweight luxury leather that’s also has incredible aroma.
Our beautiful watch straps made from oak bark leather will be everlasting. The leather has both the Flesh and Grain side, treated with greases and finished with wax. It has deep consistent Dark Havana colour. The strap model is simple and vintage, stitched in a minimalist mode with olive thick waxed thread, that reveals the luxury English leather in all its glory. A true master piece arises from the art of tanning coupled with the art of straps craftsmanship! Handmade in Finland.
The leather is 5,2 - 6, 2 mm thick and non-stretchy, fits perfectly large and heavy watches. The strap is supple and soft and does not take long to fit in the wrist perfectly.
All our products are manufactured entirely by hand only traditional methods which are over 100 years old. Without the use of mechanical means. Each leather piece has a distinct character. Due to the natural variations in the leather, no two are exactly alike.
Watchband width available: 16mm, 17 mm, 18mm, 19 mm, 20mm, 21mm, 22mm, 23 mm, 24mm, 25 mm, 26mm.
Other customized sizes are available on requests. Tapered versions are also possible to be made on requests.
