Ordering & Payment

How do I place an order?
Simply place your order through our website. After checkout, you’ll receive an order confirmation email with all the details.

Can I cancel or change my order?
Yes — as long as production hasn’t started yet. Once a strap enters production or has already been shipped, changes or cancellations are no longer possible. This is especially important for custom and made-to-order straps. More details can be found in our Terms of Service.

What payment methods do you accept?
Available payment methods are shown at checkout and may vary depending on your country and currency.

I see a duplicate charge or something looks wrong with the payment. What should I do?
In most cases this is just a temporary authorization hold from the payment provider. If it looks like a real duplicate charge, get in touch with us and we’ll check it right away.

Do you offer discount codes?
From time to time we run limited promotions. Only one discount code can be used per order unless stated otherwise.


Custom & Made-to-Order

What does “custom made-to-order” mean?
Custom made-to-order straps are made individually based on the options you choose — such as size, taper, materials, stitching, lining, and buckle — after the order is placed. the watch strap is produced to order based on the measures you provide us or make a choice, even if the product is ordered as per product image.

Production time for tailor-made collections: 1-4 weeks depending on the complexity of the order and current queue. 

Can custom or made-to-order straps be returned or exchanged?
No. Because these straps are made specifically for you, they can’t be returned or exchanged unless there’s a manufacturing defect or a mistake on our side. We recommend check the custom order details and getting in touch with us before placing your order to avoid mistakes in sizing. The sale of the custom-made watch strap is final. 

Why are custom products non-returnable?
They’re made to your specifications and can’t be resold. This is standard practice for personalized items.


Shipping & Delivery

Where do you ship from?
All orders are shipped from Finland worldwide with international freight carriers, such as DHL Express, UPS and GLS. 

Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we ship worldwide.

How much does shipping cost?
Shipping costs and available options are calculated at checkout based on your location and order value.

How long does delivery take?
Delivery time depends on your location and the carrier choice. 

How do I track my order?
Once your order ships, you’ll receive a tracking email. It can take 24–48 hours for tracking updates to appear.

Will I have to pay customs duties or import taxes?
For international orders, local customs authorities may apply VAT, duties, or import taxes. These charges aren’t set by us and are paid by the customer. There are no duties and taxes for the customers within EU. 


Returns & Exchanges

What is your return policy?
Non-custom made items can be returned within the return period stated in our policy. Ready -to-ship orders can be exchanged and returned, but 15% restoking charge is applied. 

How do I start a return?
Please contact us by email info at finwatchstraps.com before sending anything back. Returns sent without prior approval may not be accepted.

Who pays for return shipping?
We do not offer return shipping labels. 

Can I exchange an item?
Exchanges depend on availability and product type. Custom and made-to-order items can’t be exchanged. Full details are outlined in our Returns & Exchanges Policy.


Refunds

When will I receive my refund?
Refunds are processed after the returned item has been received and inspected. Once approved, the refund is issued to the original payment method. Please note that banks and payment providers may take several business days to process the refund. Full details are outlined in our Refund Policy.

Who covers return shipping costs?
Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. We do not provide prepaid return labels, The general return process is explained in our Returns & Exchanges Policy.

Are shipping costs refunded?
Original shipping costs are not refundable. This applies to both domestic and international orders and is described in more detail in our Refund Policy.

What about taxes, duties, and import fees?
All taxes, customs duties, VAT, and import fees are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by local authorities and carriers and are not controlled by FinWatchStraps. Such fees are non-refundable, even if a return is accepted. Additional information can be found in our International Shipping guidelines and Refund Policy.


Product Information & Care

What materials do you use?
We work with genuine leather and carefully sourced premium materials. Each product page lists the exact materials used.

Are your straps waterproof?
Leather straps aren’t fully waterproof. Some linings offer better water resistance, but we recommend avoiding prolonged contact with water.

Do you offer repairs?
Repairs are reviewed case by case. If you’re unsure, send us a message with a few photos and we’ll advise.


Sizing

How do I measure my watch lug width?
Measure the inner distance between the lugs in millimeters using a ruler or caliper.

How do I measure my wrist size?
Measure your wrist circumference where you normally wear the watch, using a flexible tape or a strip of paper.

Is there a size guide available?
Yes. We’ve put together a detailed size guide with visuals to help you choose the right strap length and fit. You’ll find it in the sizing section of our website.

Will your straps fit my wrist?
Our standard lengths fit most wrists, and custom lengths are always an option if you need something specific.
