Watch Strap Size Chart and Measuring Instructions
Step 1: Measure Lug Width
- Using a ruler or caliper, measure the width of the space between the lugs of your watch where the strap will attach. This measurement will determine the lug width.
Step 2: Measure Wrist Size
- Wrap a flexible measuring tape or string snugly around your wrist, just below the wrist bone.
- Note the measurement in inches or centimeters.
Step 3: Determine Strap Length
- Measure the distance between the lug ends of your watch to determine the ideal strap length. This measurement should correspond to your wrist size and desired fit.
- For a comfortable fit, add 1,5 to 2 inches (3.5 to 5 centimeters) to your wrist size measurement.

This genuine bison leather watch strap is handcrafted in Finland using the same construction standards as the straps from our main FinWatchStraps collection.
Each strap is made from genuine bison leather selected for its natural grain, substantial character, and distinctive surface texture. The leather may show natural variations in grain and structure, making every strap visually unique.
This strap is offered as part of our Sample Sale. It is a one-of-a-kind piece that was used only for product photography and has never been worn on the wrist. The strap remains in excellent, like-new condition.
Bison leather is known for its pronounced natural grain, rugged appearance, and strong visual character. Its texture gives the strap a substantial, authentic look that pairs especially well with tool watches, pilot watches, field watches, vintage timepieces, and larger sports watches.
